To Sit In The Fire

To sit in the fire,

To let it burn

All that which

No longer serves

Or was never yours.

To sit in the fire,

To let it dissolve

And resolve

The memories

And the stories

The burdens

Or the patterns

That have run

Their course.

To sit in the fire,

To let it transmute

The vision

And the perception

Of the very being

That is you.

To sit in the fire,

To let yourself melt,

Until you realize

There really is no you!
